Join other dancers at one of the largest Swing dance events in Connecticut. From swing to Sinatra to Sting, Java Groove is a small 4 piece band with a big sound - "Swing with twice the caffeine." Java Groove focuses on getting people to dance to the music of Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Louie Prima with a mix of some fun contemporary music.And for only $15, with a discounted rate of $5 for students under 25 with ID. You just can't beat it! There will be a 45 minute free Swing lesson with the price of admission at 7 open to beginners. We love newcomers! (Ladies - Now is the time to learn lead!) No partner necessary. The dance is from 8:00-11:00. Huge wooden floor. Parking is free on location.
Not a dancer? Come join us anyway with balcony seating with a birds eye view!
With a crowd of up to 200 dancers there are plenty of people to dance with. Come on your own or with friends. All are welcome!
