Back for its second year revival, the West Down Village Fete, Dog Show and Fun Run promises a great family day out with live music, games, stalls, crafts, kids activities and more!Come along and get involved as much or as little as you like… We are raising funds to go towards keeping our wonderful Community Shop and Park going for us all to continue to benefit from.
🏃🏻FUN RUN 🏃🏻
A run for everyone, wherever you are on your running journey, it’s all just a bit of healthy fun and a great goal to aim for if you are looking for some motivation!
The route will be a 5.4km run around the village roads for those aged 12 and over and a shorter 800m(ish) run for under 12’s.
🏁8.45am - Registration opens for the Fun Run
🏁9.30am - Fun Run starts
💰Entry is £5 per adult and £1 for children (10 & under)
🏆Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for womens, kids, open and veteran categories

🐕DOG SHOW 🐕
After the HUGE success last year, we are very excited for the return of the Family Dog Show with ENORMOUS thanks to Moorland Vets for sponsoring the event again this year 🙏
10am - Registration opens
11am - Dog Scurry starts and runs throughout the day
12pm - Dog Show starts
🏆Big prizes to be won for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings, but prizes for all - no one will go away empty-handed!

🎪FETE & SPORTING EVENTS/GAMES🎪
Not a runner or have a dog? No bother, this is a fun, family day out for all - we have an afternoon of games lined up starting from 12pm, live music from the Jump Jets, scrumptious food stalls and local crafting and produce stalls.
Stay tuned for more updates on the sporting events and games we have in store, including a pairs Boules Competition!

If you’d like a stall at the Fete, we are asking just £10 per stall and that you be open 9.30am-6pm(ish). Everyone welcome!
