West Coast Swing (WCS) er en af de mest populære pardanse med rødder i Lindy Hop. Den er kendt for sine bløde og elastiske bevægelser, connection, og med fokus på improvisation og musikalitet .
🎶 Et af de mest unikke kendetegn ved WCS er, at den kan danses til mange musikgenrer bl.a. fra moderne pop til blues, R&B og at der benyttes masser af cool footwork.
WCS læres i mange lag som består af fundamentals og med en høj grad af teknik . Hvoraf “ quality of movement is key “
På denne Workshop introduceres du til WCS grundtrin, timing og de 5 basic variationer.
Det giver dig muligheden for at hoppe med på vores begynder / level 1 hold
som starter 24/2
( det er en fordel at have lært de 5 basic inden start på level 1 hold )

Der er som regel rift om pladserne til workshops , så vi anbefaler, at du tilmelder dig hurtigst muligt .
Du kan tilmelder dig som par elller alene. Dog forsøger vi at skabe balance på holdet , derfor kan der oprettes venteliste
I West Coast Swing skiftes der normalt partner undervejs, så hver danser dermed udvikler sig og lærer mest muligt .

You may have already seen some of the many fantastic WCS reels on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or Facebook? And you're thinking .. wow !! I want to learn that dance !!!
West Coast Swing (WCS) is one of the most popular couple dances with roots in Lindy Hop. It is known for its soft and elastic movements, connection, and with a focus on improvisation and musicality.
🎶 One of the most unique characteristics of WCS is that it can be danced to many music genres, including from modern pop to blues, R&B and that lots of cool footwork is used.
WCS is taught in many layers consisting of fundamentals and with a high degree of technique. Of which “quality of movement is key “
At this Workshop you will be introduced to WCS basic steps, timing and the 5 basic variations.
This gives you the opportunity to join our beginner / level 1 class
which starts 24/2
( it is an advantage to have learned the 5 basic before starting the level 1 class)

There is usually a demand for places for workshops, so we recommend that you register as soon as possible.
You can register as a couple or alone. However, we try to create balance in the class, so a waiting list may be created
In West Coast Swing, partners are usually changed along the way, so each dancer develops and learns as much as possible.
