Announcing our next guest in our PRO West Coast Swing Intensives: Champion dancer, teacher of teachers, head judge extraordinaire, hall of fame inductee, and living legend, Dawn Blorstad (formerly Garrish).
Dawn will be teaching our Pro West Coast Swing series intensive on Sunday, February 1st for The Rhythm Lounge at the lovely West Art Community Center in Lancaster, PA. She will be presenting an challenging, in-depth intensive on technique and partnering that is designed to challenge how you think about dancing in a way that will help you to elevate your skills (with patience and practice, naturally).

LOCATION: The Sanctuary Room at West Art Community Center -
800 - 816 Buchanan Ave. Lancaster /
Located inside the West Art Community Center (enter at the orange doors at the Cafe and head UPSTAIRS)
Prerequisites: This workshop is designed for experienced West Coast Swing dancers who have been dancing for at least one year and regularly attend WCS classes, workshops, and events.
You should be very solid in the following: passes, sugar pushes, sugar tucks, whips, whips with turns, slingshots, passing tucks, and basic musicality and phrasing.
SCHEDULE:
11:45am - Doors open for warm-up & socializing
12:00 - 1:00 - Workshop 1 - TBA
1:15 - 2:15 - Workshop 2 - A Glow-Up For Your Dancing! details coming
2:30 - 3:30 - Workshop 3 - what we all need to level up our partnering- details coming soon
3:30 - 5:00 - Social dance (practice time, coffee break, photos, connecting, more dancing, mingling, you name it)
$5 for just the social dance time, but included in workshop pass

We expect this workshop to sell out like her previous ones. If we have space, we may open a few “a la carte” passes.
We are limiting the number of attendees at the workshops in order to keep it more intimate and to build more rapport with attendees as well.

The social dance will be open to anyone afterwards for $5 (doors for social dance open at 3:30 when the workshops are concluded).
