West Coast Swing Day with Marcin Korneliusz from Warsaw - 3 workshops + SocialI’m so happy to have Marcin Korneliusz returning to Copenhagen to teach WCS Sunday the 10th of November.
A lot of you have already had the pleasure to be taught by him before and I think we are all very happy to get him back again <3
This event is not for complete beginners, that have never tried WCS. Rather it is for people that already know the fundamentals of the basic-5 as a minimum and for people that have dance for longer. If many new beginners would like to participate we could make an extra workshop before the others with the Copenhagen Team. Please PM me if you are interested in that.
We will work with more advanced basics with modifications and quality of movements (new stuff) and we will work with new concepts and building new combinations. (More info will follow soon)
Also let me know if you are interested in taking a private with Marcin (I’m happy to be present and help out if possible)

12.00-12.15 Doors open - registration (if you only attend later workshops you can come later!)
12.15-13.45 WCS Workshop 1 - Advanced basics - polish and modify your fundamentals (level 2 and up)
13.45-14.15 Break (Eat or Practise if you like)
14.15-15.45 WCS Workshop 2 - Linear vs lateral - Connect and play with dimensions (level 3 and 4)
15.45-16.15 Break (Eat or Practise if you like)
16.15-17.45 WCS Workshop 3 - Duck mastery - Shaping in patterns (level 3 and 4)
17.45-19.00 Dinner break*
19.00-22.00 WCS Social
* LEVELS:
Level 2: For people that have already danced WCS for at least a season, you can dance the 5 basic steps easily and understand the fundmentals of WCS
Level 3: For people that at least have participated in 2 or more WCS courses (like beginner 1 and 2) and have already work on several other patterns besides the 5 basics
Level 4: For people that have taken an improver course

Bio:
Marcin Korneliusz from Warsaw, Poland, has been dancing WCS for 8 years and teaching it for 5 years. First introduced to the dance by Anna & Piotr Makowiecki, he has been learning from multiple artists in Europe and the US, also taking teacher programs. When teaching, he emphasizes connection, precise leading and attentive following. His greatest inspirations are Jason Colacino, Kyle Redd and Michael Kielbasa. He’s now learning Argentine tango making sure he stays in touch how it feels to be a beginner dancer. He knows both the role of the leader and the follower very well.
Marcin will be assisted by Connie Yndal who is leader of the Human Connection Copenhagen WCS team.
