** This one is for our experienced West Coast Swing dancers! **Join us for a 3-month choreography series starting June 8!
Classes are on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 pm
In this class, you will learn a choreographed routine, with the option to perform. The choreography will center on techniques and concepts that we would like to build within our Rogue Valley WCS community.
At the end of the series, those who are ready to perform will have the option to do so!
The series will be taught by Melissa, with co-teachers to be announced soon. Stay tuned, we're in the process of choosing a song!
For payment, there are two options:
• Pay monthly ($60 per month)
• Save by paying up front for the full series - $150

(Those signed up for this series can also retake Beginning WCS and WCS 2 for free if you'd like to review. Monday social is included as well)
PREREQUISITES: Completion of WCS 2 (or equivalent) + instructor approval. Participants need to be able to cleanly execute basic pushes, passes, tucks and whips.
Benefits to learning choreography?:
• BUILDING TECHNIQUE - Instructors will take the time to give one-on-one feedback and dance with each participant to make sure the moves FEEL good in addition to looking good. Our ultimate goal is to help you level up on the social dance floor.
• REPETITION! If you learn a move in a normal class, you may drill it 5-10 times. In a routine, you often execute the move 50+ times, embedding it into your muscle memory.
• CAMARADERIE - A performance group often starts to feel like a family. Don't miss out on the fun ;)
No partner needed to sign up. Must be willing to rotate partners.
