West Coast Swing beginners class in English

Hello!
Finally, this autumn we are offering West Coast Swing classes entirely in English at Rakelandia. Finnish-speaking participants are, of course, also warmly welcome, but the primary teaching language will be English.
We offer two four-week courses and a couple of intensive workshops. This should give you enough time to get started on your West Coast Swing journey and onto the social dance floor.
The beginner course is open to everyone, even if you have absolutely no previous dance experience. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, including one 10-minute break, in the Häijää room. The course dates are 11.8, 18.8, 25.8, and 1.9.2026. Each lesson will conclude with a video recap for your personal use.
The second course will also be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rakelandia. The course dates are 13.10, 20.10, 27.10, and 3.11.2026. This course continues from where the beginner course ends, so feel free to sign up for both.
Please note that these are not drop-in classes, so take this into account when registering.
On both 1.9.2026 and 3.11.2026, there will be a small West Coast Swing party at the end of the evening, completely free of charge. Be sure to mark these dates in your calendar as well.
The dates and additional information for the English-language intensive workshops will be announced later. However, the first intensive is planned for either 29.8 or 30.8.2026, and the second for either 20.11 or 21.11.2026.
