West Coast Jazz Hour Big Band ft. Kristin Korb: Eurythmics Celebration

The West Coast Jazz Hour Big Band is proud to present bassist and vocalist Kristin Korb as featured guest for one night only.
Hear Korb’s unique take on Eurythmics classics expanded into the big band universe — the hooks you know, recast with swing, space, and a full jazz orchestra.
Korb sings and plays bass at the same time, a rare combination she has honed from her work with mentor Ray Brown through her 2024 album Sweet Dreams, a jazz reimagining of Eurythmics. MTV and Annie Lennox were the soundtrack of her teenage years; this show is that music heard through a jazz ear.
Led by pianist Josh Nelson and drummer Kevin van den Elzen, the West Coast Jazz Hour Big Band is one of L.A.’s top large ensembles, built from first-call studio and jazz players.
“Each song is transformed and elevated to something more interesting than the original. Kudos to Kristin for taking on these songs, re-imagining them and creating a smart listen.”
