West Branch Kayak
About this Event
Join us for a naturalist-led kayak adventure on the water at West Branch State Park. We’ll paddle the scenic Michael J. Kirwan Reservoir while exploring the water and keeping an eye out for wildlife that calls this area home. Participants are welcome to bring their own kayaks or reserve one of ours. Some paddling experience is recommended to ensure a comfortable journey.

*Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for completing waivers, getting fitted with equipment, and shuttling.
WHERE: Michael J. Kirwan Reservoir in West Branch State Park. Meet at Rock Spring Road Cartop Launch at 5565 Rock Spring Road, Ravenna, OH 44266. See map.
TIPS: Suggested personal items to bring: dry bags and boxes, a change of clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, sunglasses, water, snacks, hand sanitizer, and binoculars.
FEE: $30 rental/$15 BYOK
