Wendy Martin was born in the Midwest and grew up in Iowa. After graduating high school, she worked as a waitress and continued making comics on the side until Castle Swimmer, a story about two mermen, was picked up by Ten Speed Graphic and allowed her to draw comics full time. Castle Swimmer: Volume 4 is her most recent graphic novel, published by Ten Speed Graphic.

Miranda Mundt is a Seattle area–based graphic novelist best known for their webcomic Muted and for co-creating LoveBot with their wife, fellow artist Chase Keels. Mundt studied 2D animation at Vancouver Film School and has also worked extensively as a freelance illustrator, layout designer, and graphic designer. Muted: Volume Two, published by Ten Speed Graphic, is their most recent graphic novel.
