Wendell's Songs: A Song Circle Celebrating Wendell Berry
About this Event
What To Expect
Join Alicia Giametti and Tarzan Kay for an evening of community singing where we'll remember the poet Wendell Berry.
Come sing songs about rivers and rocks and birds and streams, which is what Wendell wrote about most often. We'll read his poems along the way.
Songs are taught by ear, one line at a time. Both song leaders were trained by Mila Redwood.
No musical skill needed. No reading ability required. Come as you are. Your voice is perfect just as it is!

Community singing is for everyone. No musical training is necessary. No matter where you came from, you have ancestors who sang as part of their daily life. Singing is a birthright that every human deserves. There are no auditions and no judgements. All voices are welcome.
What if I’m late?
To preserve a space of trust and intimacy in the circle, we cannot accept arrivals more than 10 minutes after the start time. Thank you for your understanding.
Do I need to learn music in advance?
No preparation is needed. Just show up and allow yourself to be led.
What’s the cancellation policy?
You may request a refund up to 24 hours before the event, minus any fees charged by Eventbrite. If you’ve RSVP’d but can’t come, let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else.
