What to Expect at Pitch Night
Pitch Night is a casual, low-pressure event where you'll get the chance to share your business idea in front of a supportive crowd — no perfect pitch required.
Here's how the evening will go:
When you arrive at Anchor Coffee Co, grab a slice of pizza and settle in. We'll kick things off with a quick welcome and introduce our judges before diving into the pitches.
Each pitcher gets 5 minutes to share their idea, followed by time for questions and feedback from our judges and the crowd. This isn't about being grilled — it's about getting real, constructive input to help you think through your idea in a new way.
After all six pitches, our judges will step away to deliberate on the Best Overall Pitch ($250), while the audience votes live for their Crowd Favorite ($150) using their phones. Every single person who pitches will walk away with a certificate and recognition for putting themselves out there.
By the end of the night, you'll have:
Practiced pitching in a safe, encouraging environment
Gotten feedback to sharpen your idea
Connected with other entrepreneurs and community members
Maybe even walked away with some prize money!
