Biography:

Dr Shwe Soe is a Wallscourt Associate Professor in Digital Manufacturing at the University of West of England, with over 20 years of expertise in Additive Manufacturing (AM). He has spent nearly three decades advancing Digital Manufacturing, particularly in the use of AM technologies to produce end-use components. His work focuses on developing innovative AM processes, optimising materials for energy absorption, and applying multifunctional materials across industries. Dr Soe has a strong research background and notable experience in translating AM technologies to both SMEs and large industries.
