From Friday 3rd - Monday 6th October 2025Join us for a weekend long retreat in North Wales. Please note this is a women's only retreat, if you are interested in a men only retreat, please get in touch :)
A whole weekend of walking in the mountains and enjoying remote, secluded mountainous dips, based from Llanberis. The weekend is spent amongst other women who enjoy being outdoors. This trip is led by a qualified mountain leader with years of experience walking in the North Welsh Mountains, who is also a qualified Open Water Coach and Water Safety Rescue (see Kate's profile on About Us on the website), so you're in good hands. The pace of the trip will be slow and relaxing, but you need to have a good fitness level, and be happy hiking for several hours both days.

We have an option of room types:
- A room to yourself (this costs +£15 per night - so an extra £45 for the weekend)
- Sharing in a twin/triple room with friends
- You can choose to pay in full, or a £150 non refundable deposit
The weekend includes
-Accommodation for 3 nights
-All swims and safety cover and mountain walks
-Theory lessons
-We maybe able to include transport from Devon to Wales (and back again) for up to 3 people and their kit for an additional £45pp - pick up from Ivybridge, Exeter, or along the A38 (get in touch to arrange)
Not included:
-Snacks, meals out, extras like ice cream/coffee etc
-Hot drinks after swims - personal thermos highly recommended
-Tow floats/personal swim equipment and hiking equipment
-Personal /Holiday Insurance
-Food - the aim is to all bring breakfast with you, we stop for lunch at the local Spar, and we either eat out at the pub/take away, or we all pitch in a few ££ and cook a 'family style' dinner
Itinerary:
Friday - arrive in Llanberris from 5pm - meet and greet and a quick dip in the local Llyn Padarn.
Saturday - our Mountain day, walking up the watkins path or into Llyn Idwal for 2 swims minimum
Sunday - a more relaxed walking to a lake dip, the watkins pools for a 2nd swim, and possibly even a 3rd swim
Monday - you're free to head home, maybe one more local dip on the way back East!
REFUND POLICY
- If we need to cancel the retreat for any reason then you will be offered a free transfer onto another swim with the same value, or you can have a 100% refund
- If you need to cancel:
8 weeks before the swim – The deposit is non refundable, any money paid on - top of the deposit will be refunded
4 weeks before the swim – The deposit is non refundable, any money paid on - top of the deposit – 50% will be refunded
Less than 4 weeks before the swim – no refund of any monies paid
