Join us for a monthly Wellness Walk—an easy-going group hike to explore beautiful natural areas and connect with others.
This November, join us for a stroll along Martinsburg’s hidden gem: the Frog Hollow Trail. Paved and just about a mile in length, this accessible path winds from the historic Train Station through quiet woodlands and between city buildings to Route 9. Along the way, you’ll see striking murals on Stephen Street honoring local legends Hack Wilson, Vicky Bullett, and Garland Wilson—each a window into the rich cultural history of the area.
Once a vital industrial rail line, the Frog Hollow Spur was constructed in the 1880s to serve the Standard Lime and Stone Company. It remained in operation for nearly 140 years before the tracks were removed in 2021. It’s a lovely, tucked-away route—perfect for a relaxing walk steeped in both nature and history.
