Wellness Speaker Series – Discover the Power of Mindfulness and Meditation with Rebecca Murphy
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Discover the power of mindfulness and meditation to help you reconnect with yourself and cultivate a sense of calm.
Join us on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the IIPC as we host Rebecca Murphy for a conversation about mindfulness and meditation and how we can incorporate both into our daily lives.
Rebecca is a mindfulness and physical education teacher, counselor, and yoga instructor who taught mindfulness in schools and studios in Cork for five years prior to moving to San Francisco in 2023. Currently teaching at St. Philip’s in Noe Valley, Rebecca continues to study how mindfulness can improve mental health and happiness for people of all ages.
Mindfulness and meditation have several proven benefits, including:

Rebecca will help you learn mindfulness and give you easy-to-follow advice on starting and keeping up a meditation routine that works for you. It could be as simple as finding 5 minutes in the shower, the car, or as you walk into work.
We’ll finish with a Q&A to answer any questions you may have!
