Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Town Hall

Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is an evidence-based mental health education curriculum developed by people in mental health recovery and for people in recovery from a variety of life challenges. Some examples include mental health recovery, recovery from incarceration, substance use recovery and trauma recovery after serving in combat.

This training is specifically for students/interns enrolled in the College of DuPage's (COD) CRSS/CPRS Sucess Program. Former COD CRSS Success Graduates and prospective students are also invited to participate.

Town Hall objectives include:

1. Introduce WRAP Values & Ethics
2. Examine Key Concepts
3. Develop a Wellness Toolbox
4. Identify Action Plans
5. Have a fun-filled day of wellness!

ARRIVAL

The Symposium will be held at the Health and Science Center (HSC 1301). We recommend arriving by 12:45pm to sign in and we will begin promptly at 1:00pm.

REFRESHMENTS

Feel free to bring your favorite beverage, snack or money for vending machines.

NOTE

The Town Hall provides a brief overview to familiarize yourself with WRAP as Recovery Support/Peer Support Specialists. This orientation does NOT provide facilitator certification. It does NOT meet the requirements for Seminar One or Seminar Two.
