Wellington Scottish and Sparkle Fitness are hosting a group long run and inviting all those who are doing any of the Gazley Volkswagen events along.This course recce starts at Sky Stadium and offers something extra — the opportunity to meet the official pacers for the Wellington Marathon.
During this session you’ll:
• Cover another section of the course
• Learn how pacers plan to manage even effort across the route
• Understand pacing strategy for different goal times
• Ask questions about race-day execution
If you’re aiming for a specific finish time, this is an excellent opportunity to understand how the pacing groups will operate and decide whether running with a pacer suits your goals.
This session combines course familiarity with race strategy — a valuable step as race day approaches.
