The Wellington Diwali Festival of Lights returns!
The Wellington Diwali Festival of Lights 2026 is back during Labour weekend on Sunday, 25 October, from 2.00 pm to 8.30 pm at the TSB Arena and Shed 6.
Enjoy a vibrant celebration featuring exquisite vegetarian cuisine, an array of fashion, crafts, and jewellery, plus informative community stalls.
Be entertained with non-stop colourful and energetic performances ranging from traditional and contemporary to exciting Bollywood and Bangara acts!
The evening concludes with a dazzling short fireworks display at 8.50 pm (subject to weather conditions). View it from Queens Wharf or along the Waterfront.
This festival is produced by Communities Action Trust NZ (CATNZ) and proudly brought to you by the Wellington City Council.
