WELLINGTON BREATHWORK EXPERIENCE
On Saturday June 27, step into a rare breathwork portal with three of New Zealand's OWAKEN trained facilitators - Jacqui, Hayley and Brigette.
This experience is designed to bring you HOME to yourself. Within this immersive afternoon, the girls will guide you through a breathwork journey that will help you to release stored stress and emotion, regulate your nervous system, reconnect to your body, and access deeper clarity, power, peace and aliveness.
If you’ve been overwhelmed, stuck in your head, emotionally shut down, or constantly running on pressure, this experience is an invitation to move what’s been trapped beneath the surface and come back into contact with your full self.
This is a powerful inner experience designed to help you break through emotional holding patterns, shift stagnant energy, and reconnect to the part of you that is clear, grounded, alive and deeply powerful.
So many people are living with years of suppressed emotion, unresolved stress, internal pressure and nervous system overload in their bodies. We get used to coping. Used to pushing through. Used to overthinking, overriding ourselves, staying busy, staying strong, and disconnecting from what we actually feel.
But there is a cost to living that way. It drains your energy. It clouds your clarity. It dulls your aliveness. It disconnects you from your power.
Breathwork changes that.
Breathwork is a powerful active practice that works directly with the body and nervous system to create emotional, physical, mental and energetic shifts. Your breath is one of the fastest ways to influence your internal state. It can unlock held emotion, shift stress patterns, restore regulation, increase presence, and open access to deeper clarity, truth and vitality.
Because insight alone is not always enough.
You can understand your patterns intellectually and still feel blocked in your body.
You can know what needs to change and still feel unable to move it.
That’s because the body holds what the mind cannot think its way through.
Breathwork offers a direct pathway into that deeper layer. It creates space to release what has been suppressed, process what has been stored, and move energy that has been keeping you stuck. What opens on the other side is often relief, freedom, clarity, self-trust, emotional power and reconnection to life force.
During this experience, people may move through emotional release, physical sensation, energetic activation, nervous system recalibration, grief release, insight, breakthrough, clarity, peace and profound reconnection to self. Every experience is unique, but many people leave feeling lighter, clearer, stronger, more open, more grounded and more fully alive.
This experience is intentionally guided in a grounded, supportive and trauma-aware way.
We’ll begin by sharing cacao and coming together in community, creating space to arrive, connect, and gently open into the experience together.
Then, we move into grounding and nervous system preparation so your body feels supported and ready for the journey. From there, you’ll be guided through a powerful active breathwork experience held collectively by three trained facilitators through breath, music, emotional release and live support in the room. Afterwards, we move into integration, grounding and reflection so your system can land the experience and fully receive what has shifted.
This event may deeply support you if you’ve been:
- carrying stress, emotion or pressure for too long
- feeling stuck, flat, disconnected or shut down
- trapped in overthinking and disconnected from your body
- navigating change, grief, burnout or inner tension
- craving clarity, release, reset or reconnection
- doing inner work but still feeling blocked in your body or patterns
No prior breathwork experience is necessary. Beginners are absolutely welcome.
People often leave feeling lighter, clearer, emotionally released, physically grounded, more energised, more open-hearted and more deeply connected to themselves. Sometimes transformation is not about becoming someone new. Sometimes it’s about releasing what has been sitting on top of who you already are.
IMPORTANT:
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow or cushion, water bottle, journal, and comfortable clothing you can fully relax in. Creating physical comfort helps the nervous system feel safe enough to open and go deeper into the work.
