About this Event

Welcome to the final walk in our summer series of wellbeing walks, designed for anyone who would like to discover new places in the Eden with friendly, like-minded people. Over the past weeks we’ve explored rivers, woodland, parks, and towns — and this final walk brings the series together through landscape, language, and reflection.

This week we walk from Kirkby Stephen market square along the River Eden to the Millennium Bridge and back.

This is a lovely choice if you enjoy combining gentle walking with storytelling and reflection. We’ll explore the Poetry Path and inscribed stones, taking time to read, reflect, and consider how words and landscape connect.

We’ll also look at how the river has shaped the valley itself, especially around the bridge area.

A reflective and celebratory final walk to close the series.
