Why attend our talks?
Our Talks are an opportunity for all who attend to have the space to think about their health for a moment. By taking that time you might discover areas you want to work on or steps you want to take to lead a Healthier Lifestyle.
The talks are light and present advice for the general population. Where we can, we give useful tools that you can use again. We also always offer signposting for extra support for those who would like it, which can cover all areas that lead to a healthier lifestyle.
What is covered in the Stress and Resilience talk?
Our Stress and Resilience talk outline’s what stress is and how it shows up in our lives. We explore the stress response and the common symptoms of stress. Using coaching techniques, we discuss having a Stress tool kit and what yours might look like. We do a practical exercise that is helpful in managing your stress levels.
The purpose of this talk is raising awareness of stress, getting attendees to identify their stressors, response to stressors and most importantly, their coping mechanisms. Their coping strategies will support resilience.
