Well-Behaved is a solo immersive and physical theatre performance set within the fictional world of Neurodyne Labs.
Neurodyne Labs invites selected participants to attend the live activation trial of Prototype Unit 4429-724 ("Araiah"), a humanoid prototype designed to understand human behaviour through movement, communication, observation and behavioural learning.
As Araiah encounters the audience for the first time, every interaction becomes data. Humour, routine, boundaries and human connection are observed, analysed and incorporated into her development in real time.
Throughout the interaction cycle, audience behaviour contributes directly to Araiah's development. But as the evaluation progresses, the distinction between observer and observed begins to blur.
One question remains:
Who is learning from whom?
Relax.
Observe.
Remain well-behaved.
