Welding Class at MPLS MAKE!

Learn the basics, practice welding techniques, and make an object to bring home in this 2 hour MIG Welding Class! This class is great for beginners or anyone who wants a refresher crash course (:

THIS CLASS WILL COVER:

- The three components necessary for welding.

- The basic types of welding.

- Welding safety.

-Cutting and prepping steel.

-Fusing metal together.... Welding!

-Grinding and finishing.

We will first practice on scrap metal. Once you have the steps down we go through the process again and you will make your own pen holder!

GEAR: All materials, tools, and safety equipment are provided!

CLASSMATES: Come solo and make friends! Have a buddy sign up with you! Come for date night! This class maxes at 4 students and is a good time for all adults.

BREAK OUT THE OVERALLS: Please wear jeans or canvas pants, closed-toed shoes (leather boots are best if you have them), and a non-synthetic shirt. Be sure to wear clothing you don't mind working in. You will get dirty. This is not a class for your favorite outfit!

NOTES:

This class is intended for students age 18+. We do occassionally host a 12+ kids welding class. Please shoot us a message if you are interested.
