Weld County Native Seed Share

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, the Weld County Native Seed Share has something for everyone! Join us for a free community event featuring a wide variety of native seeds, including annuals, perennials, grasses, and shrubs.
We’ll also have plenty of educational information on hand to help you learn how to successfully plant and grow native seeds at home. You do NOT need to bring seeds to attend or take home free seeds!
Seed Sharing Guidelines:
We happily accept seeds native to Colorado and adjacent states.
Please avoid cultivars, which may not support native pollinators as effectively.
We cannot accept seeds from plants designated as noxious weeds.
Bringing seeds? Please email species name(s) in advance to [email protected] so we can prepare plant information sheets.
Please practice responsible seed harvesting! (Learn more at https://nanps.org/seed-collecting/)
For questions, email [email protected].
