Join us on the Motueka Spit to Welcome the Godwits! 🐦✨
Bring your family for an unforgettable experience as you greet these incredible migratory birds. There will be some binoculars, and expert bird watchers who will be on hand to share fascinating bird facts. Don’t miss this unique chance to connect with nature!
Meet at 10:15 opposite the golf course on the coastal track at the northern end of Motueka Quay, near the junction of Motueka Quay and Staples Street. There is limited parking there. We will be leaving there as a group and crossing on foot over onto the Spit. You will probably get wet/muddy feet. Bring a snack and water.
