Welcoming ceremony/Powhiri for Migrants to the Bay of Plenty

This special event provides an opportunity for migrants and their families to experience a Powhiri, a traditional Māori welcome, and connect with mana whenua, community leaders, and people from across our region. Whether you are new to the Bay of Plenty or have lived here for many years, this is a chance to strengthen connections, build a sense of belonging, and experience the warmth and hospitality of tangata whenua.
