Welcome Wednesday at UUCLynchburg

We are pleased to announce the development of Welcome Wednesdays, an opportunity for you to spend time with friends and soon-to-be-friends in a variety of unique ways. These Wednesdays are designed to be low commitment/low effort event. Drop in when and where works for you events, for all ages. Each week, we will have a childrens and creatives corner set up for those less interested in gathering for discussion.
Each week features a different theme or activity.
First Wednesday of the Month: Bring-Your-Own Dinner Social - Bring your own dinner or some treats to share and visit with friends as we share good food and good conversation together.
Second Wednesday of the Month: Small Group Discussion -
A more relaxed Soul Matters-style discussion and activities. Feel free to bring your dinner or snacks, if you wish.
Third Wednesday of the Month: Newcomers Club -
Are you a new UU? Or new to UUCL? Interested in visiting? Or hoping to get to know some of our newer members/friends better? This is the night for you!
Fourth Wednesday of the Month: UUCL Gives Back Community Service Night - We will work together on a common service project - such as assembling student weekend food bags, hygeine bags, birthday cake kits, and other ideas. Many hands together make a bigger difference!
Fifth Wednesday of the Month (those rare occasions!): Sweet ComUUnity - Ice cream and toppings provided, but feel free to bring your own favorites! We will enjoy ice cream, games, and fun times as we cool off from the summer heat.
