Welcome to the Watershed - Hike on the Sardina Preserve and Photo Tips!

Join Conservancy Board Member (and extraordinary photographer), Richard Murphy, and volunteer land stewards on a gentle easy walk, mostly on old ranch roads. The Dr. George Sardina Preserve used to be home to Mr. Paintball. Under the ownership of The Escondido Creek Conservancy, it is transforming as non-native trees and plants are removed and native species restored in their place. While this is, sadly, a dry year, the hike is well worth it! Richard takes gorgeous pictures of nature and will provide tips to anyone who wants to learn more about how to use their camera to photograph wild places. Non-photographers are welcome too! Details will be e-mailed to those who sign up as we get closer to the hike date.
