Welcome to the Céilí House with guest storyteller Jack Lynch

Lislea Community Association presents the first of 'Welcome to the Céilí House' evenings with our first guest, storyteller Jack Lynch.

Dublin-born Jack Lynch is a storyteller who has represented the Irish oral tradition at home and abroad. Oral Storytelling is an intimate and interactive art and the listener is an essential part of the storytelling process. Weaving words, sharing stories and igniting imagination wherever he goes, he is steeped in the Irish oral storytelling tradition. Jack writes, devises and collaborates with world-renowned artists and he also performs at storytelling and arts festivals all over the world – throughout Ireland, Britain, Europe, The Middle East, The West Indies, Canada and North America.

Stories, songs and recitations are welcome from the floor.

Bar will be open and a light supper served to all.
