Welcome to Rocky Mountain National Park! Scenic Ecology Tour

Rocky Mountain National Park is a beautiful place where gorgeous mountain vistas greet you around every corner, but it’s easy to forget about the unique plant and animal inhabitants that make this area so special. Join our naturalist guide on a 14-passenger minibus as we visit scenic locations and seek out the interesting wildlife of RMNP. Spend the morning at some of the park’s most breathtaking locations, including Sheep Lakes and Horseshoe Park, Many Parks Curve, Moraine Park, and more, learning about the wildlife that make this region so fascinating. Leave the driving to us while you sit back, relax, and enjoy the magic of Rocky!

This tour is approximately 3 to 4 hours in length and is suitable for all ages. We will be getting on and off the bus and walking a short distance over level ground at each stop. All required park entrance fees and permits are included in your registration.

When: Most Wednesdays and Fridays in June, July, and August. Wednesday tours depart at 10:00am and return between 1:00pm and 2:00pm. Friday tours depart at 8:00am and return between 11:00am and 12:00pm. Our return may be delayed due to traffic conditions in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Where: This tour departs from and returns to the Fall River Visitor Center. Look for the marked Rocky Mountain Conservancy vehicle in the upper parking lot. Your guide will meet you at the vehicle.

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket or sweatshirt, and a bottle of water. A camera and binoculars are also nice to have along.
