Welcome to Parenthood - 4 Week Course

H ello and Congratulations! Please read all of the below before booking your class.

W elcome to our Antenatal Course - where you will have 4 sessions taught by a Multidisciplinary Team, including Health Visitors, Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and Infant Feeding Support Workers.

The course dates are below, when you book in for this course you are booking to attend all four sessions. P lease book a space for yourself and a birth partner (i.e. 1 couple will need to book 2 tickets). Ensure the date you are booking is after 28 weeks gestation, if you book earlier we may contact you to rearrange.

T here are 4 sessions:

A ctive Birth - discussing the stages of labour, pain relief options and different types of birth

Hypnobirthing/Responsive Feeding - a hypnobirthing taster and beginning to discuss infant feeding

E arly Days - covering everything you need to know about your newborn baby, bringing them home and beyond.

Welcome to Parenthood - transition to parenthood and emotionally coping, role of the health vistor, responsive feeding, signs feeding is going well.

T hese sessions are not always delivered in the above order. There is more information about course content available on the class Padlet, which is sent to you the week before the course starts.
