It’s game time for good! In the spirit of friendly rivalry and community service, United Way of the Capital Area, in collaboration with RSVP Ice House, is launching the “Tackle Hunger: The JSU vs. ASU Canned Food Challenge” to support local families during these uncertain times.

This canned food drive leads up to the annual Soul Bowl football game between Jackson State University and Alcorn State University, uniting fans and alumni to make a difference off the field. We’re calling on Tiger Nation and Brave Country to bring their A-game, not just to the stadium, but to the community. The school that collects the most donations earns the “Tackle Hunger Champion” title and major bragging rights!
