Join us for an afternoon of welcome fun, learning & connection!

Let’s come together to celebrate Welcoming Week with a fun, family-friendly community fair for everyone:

Venue: Burnaby Village Museum (6501 Deer Lake Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3T6)

The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Everyone is welcome — including newcomers, immigrants, long-time residents, families, and community members.

No prior registration is required

You're welcome to drop in anytime during the event. You can also enjoy the museum exhibits.

Since 2012, Welcoming Week has been an annual celebration that highlights communities striving to be more welcoming and inclusive places for everyone, including immigrants. Through local events and activities, organizations and communities bring together neighbours of all backgrounds to celebrate diversity, foster mutual understanding, build strong connections, and create a greater sense of belonging for all. Welcoming Week also affirms the importance of welcoming and inclusive communities in achieving collective prosperity.
