Monthly bird walk specifically for birders of all ages.Kensington has a special opportunity many are not aware of. Visitors can hand feed wild birds (Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, and possibly others.) We will provide the bird seed! This is a great opportunity for up-close observation and photos. Adults seem to enjoy the experience of "a bird in the hand" as much as children do.

Note: Entrance to the park requires an entrance fee or an annual metropark pass.
Binoculars can be loaned to those who do not have their own. Weather may be chilly, especially near the water, so be sure to dress appropriately.
