Join the Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School for our Welcome Social and Monday evening featured event - Talk and Tunes with Gerry O'Connor!Location: Great Hall at the Celtic MKE Center, 1532 N. Wauwatosa Ave., Milwaukee, WI
Meet Summer School instructors and fellow students, enjoy a cash bar, and listen to some great music!
At 8pm, the Ward Irish Music Archives will interview Mary MacNamara about about his life and times in Irish music, and the rich musical traditions of Oriel.
Free parking available nearby. Free to registered Summer School students and open to the general public with an optional goodwill offering of $5.
Don't forget to register for Gerry O'Connor's fiddle classes at the Summer School! Tuesday through Thursday, August 12 - 14, M09: Advanced Fiddle and M17: Intermediate Fiddle. Gerry will also teach The Dance Music of Oriel Friday workshop from 9 to 10:30am and August 15.
