About this Event
ManKind Project British Columbia [MKP BC] invites you and yours to attend a friendly public celebration and potluck dinner event honouring the men who graduated the recent New Warrior Training Adventure weekend.
This is the only public event we offer at MKP BC. Bring your friends, children, spouse, family and anyone else who enjoys being in the company of positive men who are striving to be better fathers, spouses, employers, and community members. This is a gender-inclusive event so everybody and members of the public are welcome. We can't wait to meet you!
It's a tradition at this celebration that we share a yummy potluck dinner. Feel free to bring your favourite food item for sharing with others. Check our Perfect Potluck list to see which dishes are already arriving and add your dish to the list. Thanks!
The potluck food will be handled by volunteers following strict food safety rules.
The NWTA is designed to help a man re-discover his greatest gifts and talents, give him tools to have more productive relationships, and help him craft an inspiring personal mission of service. The ManKind Project is a world-wide organization that encourages leadership, mindfulness, self-knowledge, comradeship, integrity, connection to feeling, and strong ties to family and community. We're also honoured that we will have with us representatives from our sister organization Woman Within to provide information about circles for women.
We'll be making some music together so bring your drum, rattle or noise maker if you have one. Admission free.
