About this Event
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, we will welcome home 80+ military heroes who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam—and we need YOU to help give them the unforgettable homecoming they deserve.

⏰ Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 8:30 PM
In 2025, more than 1,000 community members came together to create one of the most powerful moments the Central Coast has ever seen. This year, we’re coming back even stronger.
Bring your flags, signs, and energy as we fill the airport with pride, gratitude, and patriotism. Let’s give our veterans the welcome home they earned.

🔔 Important Information
Arrive Early
A large turnout is expected. Please plan to arrive no later than 8:30 PM to be in place before the veterans arrive.
Parking Notice
Parking near baggage claim is currently under construction and will be limited.
We strongly recommend carpooling and allowing extra time for parking and walking.
Flexible Timing
Flight schedules may change. Please monitor the hotline or follow our social media for updates.
Veteran Arrival Process
After landing, it typically takes about 45 minutes for all veterans to deplane. Veterans will exit together once everyone is off the aircraft.
Where to Go
Enter through any airport door and make your way to the restaurant area, where the welcome home gathering will take place.
Parking Rules
Do not park in red zones, loading areas, or restricted spaces. Vehicles may be ticketed or towed.

No Political Attire or Signage
To maintain our nonprofit status and keep the focus on our veterans, political clothing, flags, or signage are not permitted.
Bring the Energy
We encourage everyone to bring American flags, military branch flags, and patriotic signs to create a powerful and memorable welcome.

Representatives from Welcome Home Military Heroes and Honor Flight Central Coast California will be on-site to assist. Due to the size of the crowd, please be flexible and follow guidance as needed.
