Join us Saturday, September 20th from 9-11 a.m. for our Koala Bike Rodeo! We have partnered with Retro City Cycles, Seminole County Sheriff's Office, FDOT, Bike Walk Central Florida, TargetZero, and the Florida FreeWheelers to bring this event to life. The event is FREE and open to all children and families in the community, regardless of age and attendance at Wekiva Elementary.
If you have kids who are learning to ride on a balance bike, use training wheels, or have a child who has already mastered the ride, there's something to experience at the rodeo!
Do you have to bring your own bike?
To participate in the Challenge Course, it's recommended that your child have his/her own bike and helmet so they are comfortable riding. However, SCSO will have a few bikes and helmets available for children to use on the course if they cannot bring their own. All children who complete the Challenge Course will receive a certificate. If your child wants to participate in the bike parade, he/she needs to ride their own bike.
