About this Event
Join us for an evening of ecoweird, cli-fi, and folk cinema, exploring the strange entanglements of ecology, myth, matter, entropy, climate, and speculative imaginings through moving image.
This curated programme brings together a selection of short films by Dissimilar, Ecological Folklore, Abbey People, MUD Collective, Duncan Ganley, Alisa Kutsenko, and LEAP Lab, alongside other works that blur the boundaries between documentary, fiction, ghosts, and ecological narratives.
Together these films open up uncanny ways of sensing the more-than-human world where landscapes shift, stories mutate, trauma seeps, and time untangles. Our encounters with environmentally transformed landscapes are reimagined through experimental and poetic cinema.
