Throughout history, women who possessed deep knowledge in subjects like botany, physiology, and medicine were condemned as witches. This La Caccina concert sets the record straight, celebrating the power of those knowledgeable women and harnessing the magic that lives within us all. The atmospheric, wood-paneled hall of the historic Dawes House will ring with mysterious music by female composers, spooky melodies, vocalizations, and body percussion. Emmy C-G, a witch and trauma-informed tarot and akashic records guide, joins us to provide historical context and guide us through the program.
