We will begin our read-through of Lewis's book, The Weight of Glory, this month, Tuesday, 24 Sept. at The Livingstone, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Coffee bar will open at 6:30 p.m. This is the first of a series of monthly meetings. You do not have to have read the chapter of the book to attend, but it will be helpful if you want to join in on the discussion :-).
The Weight of Glory is a compilation of various essays and sermons by CS Lewis. The book is titled from the first chapter, which is what we will discuss at our September meeting.
Our Society operates under the auspices of the Christian Study Center of Chattanooga - chattanoogastudycenter.org, a 501(c)3 corporation. All donations to our work are tax-deductible and much appreciated. Donations can be made from the website.
BTW, you'll have to read the chapter to understand the humour of the light bulb in the sky picture :-)
