Weidner Downtown At The Tarlton Presents: The Cabinet of Dr. Calligari

The historic Tarlton Theatre and Weidner Downtown present The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) on the city's biggest original movie screen, accompanied by a composed string quartet score by Michelle McQuade Dewhirst and performed by Michelle McQuade Dewhirts, Luis Fernandez, Taylor Giorgio, Michael Hall, and Michael Dewhirst.

Sometimes called the first horror movie, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) presents a visually distorted world full of fear and dread as a string of murders is committed. Is a mysterious sleepwalker to blame? Or is he being brainwashed and controlled by the sinister Dr. Caligari?

The Tarlton Theatre offers complimentary parking at the paved lot located immediately to the west of the theatre at 100 South Chestnut Avenue. Parking spaces marked "The Tarlton Theatre" are reserved for theatre guests only. Free parking is also available on South Broadway, South Chestnut Avenue, and Howard Street, but we caution our guests against parking their vehicles overnight.
