Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Weichert Realtors Performance Homes, located at 281 Main Street, Farmingdale, NY at 12 Noon on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
Founded in September 1995 by Anthony Garcia, Weichert Realtors – Performance Home began as a side project and has since grown into the primary source of income and purpose for the Garcia family. Today, under the leadership of Anthony’s sons, Joseph Garcia and Jared Garcia, the company has evolved into not only a trusted real estate brokerage but also a pillar of community engagement and service.
A Multi-Generational Family Business
Anthony Garcia, still actively supervising and listing homes, continues to provide guidance and wisdom from decades in the business. His sons carry that vision forward:
Joseph Garcia serves as Vice President of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce, President of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, and a local school board member. His leadership in business and civic life strengthens the company’s ties to the community.
Jared Garcia is a trustee of the Amityville Chamber of Commerce, representing the firm’s commitment to building stronger local networks and relationships.
Together, Joseph and Jared have expanded the company’s reach and reputation, franchising nine years ago and continuing to grow both the business and its impact.
