The #wehiketoheal Challenge is a month-long campaign that takes place each May during mental health awareness month and is intended to encourage women all over the world to tap into the healing and empowering influences within ourselves, our communities and nature. This is a global movement that inspires moments of mindfulness in our everyday lives through We Hike to Heal's virtual curriculum that includes journaling prompts, mindfulness tools, meditations, and outdoor challenges, as well as, FREE group hikes all month long.In the Arms of Jesus Grief Support is proud to host local group hikes for mothers who have endured the loss of their children. Join other grievers as we get into nature to explore our grief and share our stories. Each hike will begin with a remembrance circle where we'll share who we are carrying in our hearts. Throughout our hike, we will pray, reflect, journal, and share as we work to heal.
Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather. You may want to bring a backpack with a journal and writing utensil along with a water bottle.
