Join us for weekly Storytime at the Alaska Zoo, sponsored by our friends at ConocoPhillips Alaska! This program is FREE for zoo members and non-members alike weekly on Wednesdays in our Zoo Gateway Hall located outside of the entrance. The program is held from 10:30am-11am. We are WILD about encouraging kids to read! This program is best suited for ages 2-7 but all ages are welcome.
The weekly program includes animal books read by a zoo educator, fun sitting pads, interesting props for kids, free coloring tote bags and a visit by a live bunny guest. No registration is required, just join us in the Gateway Hall. We encourage you to plan a zoo visit after the program. Entry into the zoo is regular entry rates or membership use at the gate. Our Gift Shop and the Kape Espresso Tayo Coffee Shop will be open for business as well.
