Students will learn the copper foil method of assembly. Four designs, each 8"x8" will be provided for students to choose from and complete during the 2 day weekend class. Class will be 6 to 7 hours per day plus lunch break.
Topics covered will include:
-design considerations, structural and aesthetic
-discussion of glass types
-glass cutting techniques for specific shapes with a 6 page handout
-soldering on copper foil to assemble
-framing with lead and applying hooks

Students are encourage to bring glass colors they like. This can be purchased online, Hobby Lobby, or in person from Kelly Ann Smith.
This weekend workshop is $150 per person. Ages 15+.
