Weekend Wine Detective: The Case of the Six Noble Grapes
Schedule
Sat Sep 20 2025 at 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm
UTC-06:00Location
Harmons Mountain View Village | Riverton, UT
Guided by Chef Maybel, you’ll step into the role of a wine detective. Throughout the evening, you’ll learn to identify the six noble grape varieties that form the foundation of French wine: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling.
As you taste your way through each “case file,” you’ll develop practical wine-tasting skills, discover what sets each varietal apart, and build the vocabulary to talk about wine with clarity and confidence.
Each tasting is paired with charcuterie and gourmet pizzas designed to highlight the character of the wine in your glass—because great detective work deserves a great snack.
Whether you’re just starting your wine journey or want to challenge your inner sommelier, this class delivers an evening of flavor, discovery, and sensory surprise. No labels. No pressure. Just a fun, hands-on way to unlock the world of wine.
Note: This class is 21+ and includes alcohol. Please bring a valid ID.
Attendees for this class must be 21 years of age or older. Please be sure to remember your government issued I.D.
