Our weekend of exploration begins with the Keith National Trust's hidden gem-the pioneer cottage museum (no entry fee, however a chance to leave a donation), followed by the Runaway Hole near historic Mundulla, another gem of the Upper South East.
We cross to the border towns of Frances, Kybybolite and Hynam before arriving at Naracoorte.
We stay overnight at the William MacIntosh Motor Lodge with dinner, bed and cooked breakfast included.
On Sunday we will visit the exterior of impressive Struan House and then return to Naracoorte to visit the Sheep's Back Museum (entry fee included).
Next we visit George Ormerod's historic 1840s cottage (the founder of Naracoorte) and the later built majestic 'Narracoorte' Homestead and 3 acres of gardens.
Here we will have tour and morning tea (included in fee) with the current owner of this hidden gem.
Extensive history notes included.
Depart WEA Centre 8:30am Saturday and return Sunday approximately 5:45pm.
