SHAY Collins is Niece/ Protege to the famous RAY COLLINS the founding member of The MOTHERS OF INVENTION with Frank Zappa. Though she has a powerful unique soulful sound and style all her own she makes sure to honor her uncle in every single performance.
A Hollywood California Girl, holds influences of many major artists: Janis Joplin Melissa Etheridge, Cher, Bette Midler, Grace Slick, Stevie Nicks and more.
She has extensive experience in every aspect of the industry. Dance, Music, stage production, modeling, hair & makeup artistry, Show coordination, image consulting. She has brought every piece of her life experiences to this very moment that has made MOTHER LEGACY Come to life.
Raspy Bluesy Southern rock, Country, Americana, folk, Shay takes you on a journey, stirring emotions, creating inspirational moments in every performance.
Together with her strong velvety vocalist cowboy husband Steve, have created quite an inspiring, exciting, rocking performance, lighting up stages everywhere. These two travel and perform 90% of the year.
